Today, our team of doctors comprises the owner of the practice, Dr Christoph Jung, a specialist in general medicine and addiction medicine, Dr Verena Jung, a specialist in general medicine and gynecology and obstetrics, and the founder of the practice, Dr Dieter Jung, also a specialist in general medicine and addiction medicine.

We are all committed to providing our patients with personalized and high-quality care. We place particular emphasis on preventive medicine and human counselling as an aid to life.

About us

In the heart of Heidelberg for more than four decades

Since we moved in 2016, we welcome our patients to our premises at Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 23a. We also offer emergency home visits and provide GP services to residential/nursing homes in the Heidelberg districts of Altstadt, Neuenheim, Bergheim and Weststadt. In addition to a broad conventional medical basis, we have also developed an individualized, alternative and holistic treatment style. These specialisms include addiction therapy, travel medicine, basic psychosomatic care and autogenic training.

Online Appointments

The easiest way to book an appointment is via our online tool. To do this, click on our button, select the doctor treating you, your preferred date and time and make a binding booking. Online Prescriptions

E-prescriptions have been available since 1 January 2024. Patients can receive prescriptions for medication digitally from us and redeem them in local pharmacies or online.

After ordering, the desired prescription will be available to you digitally on your health card within 24 hours on weekdays. Please note that this order form can only be used to request prescriptions. Please send other inquiries such as transfers or sick notes by email to rezepte@doktor-jung-heidelberg.de

And this is how it works:

  • Complete our online form in full and send it to us
  • We will check your details and then create and sign your prescription digitally 
  • We store your e-prescription securely in the telematics infrastructure 
  • You can access it via your electronic health card or the e-prescription app 
  • Redeem your e-prescription at a pharmacy of your choice 
  • To do this, insert your health card into the card terminal of a pharmacy or show the prescription code in the app or on a printout
